I'm new to the whole computer scene.

Right if i was to buy a new case for my computer would it be a case of removing the motherboard , hardrive , psu etc and then just putting it into the new case

is it as easy at that though? Will i need to reformat etc?

Probably a really stupid question but as i said im new to all of this..

Most people go with mid-ATX cases, since there not huge, but have plenty of room inside.

It's pretty straight forward, however it's very time consuming. And no, you wont have to reformat unless you add some new parts.

You will not have to do that.

But you might have to do that if you are trying to set the hard drives in RAID

the hardest part about switching cases is wiring the power and reset switches and hdd leds from the new case to your motherboard. it helps if you have the book or look up the diagram online.
