A question about my 4870

I have had this video card for about a week and it has been great. XFX 4870 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150394

I have 2 monitors hooked up to it right now and I got interested in hooking up a small tv I have in my room as a 3rd screen for fun. I plugged in the svideo and set it up and once I try to apply the changes in in control panel I get the blue screen of death and my computer restarts before I can read it. Any ideas of why this could be? Do i have to use the adapter that it came with? The svideo HDTV cable? Heres what it came with...

You can only have 2 monitors plugged in at once. You have to unplug one of you other ones to plug in the TV or get another graphics card.
