i need your help.....
does formatting computer many time(ex:10 times in a month):D will effect hardware performance or damage it????
thanks for any reply..........
 
I seriously doubt it would do any physical damage to any hardware. It would basically just make your hard drive do a lot of work, but their motors are designed for 100% duty anyhow.

My question is why on earth would you need to reformat so much.

Do you mean format or defrag, how do you not lose your mind reformating 10 times a month?

That's nothing, I had to format it 5 times.

Format to FAT32 for Win98SE
Format to ReiserFS for SuSe 9.3
Format to FAT32 for Win98SE
Format to NTFS for WinXP
Format to NTFS for WinXP

It got a bit frustrating as WinXP wouldn't work properly at first. :D
