A Trade?

Okay so my friend agreed to trade his red thermaltake case and his modular 550W PSU for my 400 W Dynex, my NZXT Case, a 1TB Sata HD, and an old 520 GT GPU from Nvidia. Should I just go ahead and do it? Because I love his case and I really need that PSU.

Or should I just trade him the TB Hard drive and my 400 watt for his 550 watt, because that's all I really need?

Are you sure? Because I plan to upgrade to crossfire in the future and with two 6870's in my case I don't think it would be big enough do you?

If I am correct The gamma has the same chassy as the M59 (My case) I am planning on running 2 6950s in there. As long as the ventilation is good you should have no problem.

too bad a 550w cannot power sli or crossfire, need i think 750w for that with no bottlenecking guarenteed.

Good point. Some sources have a 6870 CF pulling 415w not leaving a whole lot left for the rest of your system. I would think that a good 650w as long as you have enough amps on the +12v rail would be the minimum that you want to shoot for.

yeah, corsair, xfx, evga, i think cougar is good, and i believe it was seasonic are some of the best brands out there

It's really up to you. If you were to buy a new case would you want that one? If not I would just save up for the one that you really want and get it later.

well i love my vortex 3620, looks nice and the inside is pretty big, just compare deminsions to yours, and mine has tool-less hdd slotes, think it was supposed to have tool-less expansion slots (gpu and other in that are slots), but mine don't, but it's only 45 so look at it, and i got mine on sale for 35 and i think 2 for shipping, so i'm happe with it.
