ok pretty much atm i start my comp up it starts the whole loading things up stuff then before the bit where it shows the selection of which person you want to log into as the screen just goes black. i accessed the computer in safemode and did a system restore to around a month back. it works ok as well i can make this post however if i would say shutdown teh comp and start it up or just restart it the same problem would occur and i would have to do another system restore. not sure what sortof info on my computer would be helpful so i will just say the basics. athalon processor 1.83ghz, 512mb ram, 70-80gb hard drive. the mother board is an ASUSTek model: A7V8X-X.
atm i don't have a cd burner or dvd burner so i can't really save the stuff i want so a reformat is atm out of the question.
