A weird one for you guys ?

Hello,

I have just built my gaming pc and I was running battlefield 4 on high and the CPU is clocked at 3.91 GHz but the task manager and other programmes where showing this running at 4.35 GHz when it was at 75 Degrees C, but as I have put two more fans in my computer to cool the CPU and GPU the clock speed stayed below 3.91 GHz at 54 degrees C why is this happening?

Probably AMD TurboCore kicking in when you checked. It's like Intel Turbo Boost, automatically bumping the core clock speed up when needed.

Also, are you using a stock AMD heatsink, or a third party one? If you want good CPU temps when under load, look into a third party heatsink such as one of these:

75 is pushing it. I'd make sure your case is well dusted out and has enough airflow going through it. If you're overclocking either remove it or turn off the Turbo that AMD has. You really don't want both. I'd just leave it at stocks and have the Turbo do its thing. If you want to keep it overclocked then turn off the Turbo and make sure your temps are preferably below 60 at load. If they're not, look at better cooling in your case, or ideally, a better CPU cooler.
