A weird problem

I have a nvidia gt 610 graphics card, which i bought 6 months ago.It is not working when I put it in my computer , but it works in my friend's computer. My friend's graphics card (nvidia 210) is working properly in my computer. Please help me...

What kind of CPU do you have? If it has integrated graphics I'd try to return the card for a faster one. The 610 is really only suitable for media playback and the integrated would offer you similar performance.

Some chipsets play weirdly with certain cards, what other specs do you have?

Motherboard : Gigabyte B85M-DS3H-A
Ram : 8GB , DDR3
Display : Intell HD Graphics 4600
