As you may know the stated minimum requirements for left 4 dead are:
3ghz single core cpu / 2ghz dual core cpu
1gb ram
pixel/vertex 2.0 compliant graphics card.
That would be for lowest settings, correct?

I installed the game on my computer (SEE SIG), and discovered that i can play the game perfecrly on medium settings, with 16x AF and 6x AA. :D

So if anyone else isn't up to the requirements, don't be too worried.

what are your temps when playing though and what are your fps when there are alot of zombies and stuff going on on screen?
 
temps are good. 50-60c max. when a large horde of zombies appear, it lags for about 2 seconds, then is all fine. It may lag the first time you start up the game though.
I would recommend a better processor than i have. at least a p4 2.8ghz with HT. or a dual core.

but it is 100% playable. i forgot to mention im at 1024x768 res though. but at least i can play it. and that is a more realistic game playing resolution anyway imo. decent framerates ftw.
