I tried to install windows on a laptop hard drive but it kept failing, so I decided to give up and make it an external hard drive with a usb connector. so I deleted what little files and folders were on there but it wont delete "system volume information", how do i get rid of it. (without formatting because there is not enough power in the usb.)
 
you could try using something like MoveOnBoot, but im not sure how well it works on external drives...

you can delete your posts by going into EDIT and then selecting to delete.

MoveOnBoot is an application that deletes files upon on boot up, meaning they are not in use by windows, so windows cannot do jack to stop you deleting them, lol....
