Just received an e-mail from newegg saying my 700w power supply is back ordered, the website doesn't currently list it as such do to an inaccurate stock check on their end. So great! my computer I was hoping to have up and running by saturday won't be completed for god knows how long!

My question to you guys is this:

The case I ordered comes with a 400w power supply, and I have a feeling that it won't be powerful enough to run my rig. Couldn't hurt to ask someone more knowledgable, right? I not only want this thing up and running asap but I really want that particular PSU, so i'm not gonna order anything else. *crosses fingers*

Here's the spec's on the computer:

Cancel your order with Newegg, and get another PSU asap.

OCZ's 700W PSU debut might be worth a shot. It's $160.

If you don't like that one, make sure the PSU you buy is a respectable brand, such as Enermax, Tagan or Thermaltake.

If you're getting a small case, I'd recommend getting a modular PSU. Instead of having hundred's of cables to tidy up, you've only got a few.

Thanks for the info guys, went through tigerdirect. They actually had the same PSU I was aiming for from newegg, and cheaper to boot. I don't really like tigerdirect... but all the local computer hardware stores are overcharging out the ying yang on this PSU and newegg is out of stock. So it's either this or wait god knows how long on newegg to restock.

P.S. sry about that triple post, not sure how clicking the button once gave me three posts... and where's the delete post button! ><

I hate tigerdirect.com, I have ordered from them twice and they screwed up both times. I guess I am not the only one.
