Aaarghh! Stupid 8800gts. Need help

Ok, I just got my evga 320mb 8800gts superclocked in the mail. Problem is absolutely EVERYTHING about the card doesn't function properly.

1. I run 1440x900 on my samsung 19", and my desktop is blurry.
2. I can't seem to install drivers...but apparently I did!!?!
3. Every time I launch windows (xp) it says "new hardware found...do you wish to install drivers..." and finally "your hardware may not function..."
4. The game that came with it (dark messiah) doesn't run properly
5. ALL (ABSOLUTELY ALL) of my other games don't load save games anymore. It just doesn't work to.

only thing i like about the card so far is that it runs Carbon with 16x AA no problem.

PLEASE HELP!!

PS: Yes, I have uninstalled previous drivers and installed fresh 97.92 drivers.

i'd have to blame it on microsoft for making suckey operating systems. my guess is you just installed the drivers but windows isn't picking up on them for some reason. try uninstalling the drivers... and make sure they're gone out of the program folder... then try re-downloading and installing a fresh copy on your hard drive.
 
Sweet, I downloaded the unofficial 100.87 drivers and every single problem I listed is fixed. Which means nVidia drivers = poop. Download the 100.87 driver if you are having issues.
