Abit KN8 Ultra vs Asus AN8-E

I havent been able to find any good, extensive reviews of these two motherboards and I was wondering if you could give me a hand.

It's most likely down between these two for a new system (Athlon64 3500+ Venice, 1536 MB DDR), and I was wondering which one of these is better.

Price is almost identical. I've heard that the Asus' chipset fan is very loud and that sometimes it can fail completely.


What are your opinions?
 
since there is no AN8-E im guessing you are talking abou the A8N-E and I recommend getting whichever you choose, they are both quality mobos
 
I'm an abit fan, but I hear asus is one of the top brands too...

My personal preferance would be the abit, but either should be great
 
Between boards this close, it dont matter really which way you go: I'm used to ASUS's board layouts so I would get the ASUS (if i had to pick between these two) but if i was as familiar with ABit boards than i'd just as easily go Abit. :)
