about motherboard temp.

I was wondering if there can be another problem then a bad airflow in your pc, that can cause a high motherboardtemp.?
The temp. rises very fast.(on CPUID HWMonitor) and causes my pc to shut down.

I've bouth a new cooler and case but before I install them, I would like to know if my motherboard is ok.

The cpu and motherboard give high temp.
It used to happen only when gaming , but now my motherboard gets overheated and my pc shuts down even when I watch something on youtube.

Can a pc shut down when the cpu is overheated?

Yes the computer will shut down when cpu has overheated. Did the cooler come with a thermal pad on the bottom or did you put thermal paste between cpu and cooler? What cpu cooler do you have?

atm the max temp of my motherboard is 66°C, my cpu is 45°C.
I think it's a standard Intel Cooler.
I have the Acer predator G3600...a premade pc.

Is it still under warranty? Have you messed with anything inside of it? How warm is the room it is in? Does it have any case fans?

No warranty anymore, the room is 21-23°C.
There are no case fans.
A year ago I did install a new graphic card and power supply.
The temp also fluctuates, it's not stable.

The mobo temp is a bit warm (I'm assuming that's the chipset getting that hot) but the CPU temp is fine.

While doing nothing, my mobo got to 69°C...is that possible just because of a bad ventilation?
Now my pc often shuts down when watching a youtube.(it used to happen only when gaming)

Open your temperature monitor program and watch youtube. Keep an eye on temps and find out what temp turns off computer.
