Ac Cooling Unit

what are the cons and pros of the AC COOLING. are they hard to install, do they leak ????
 
Probably over-rated, water cooling is the farthest I would go. If it is true AC, there has to be condensation somewhere, condensation is never good. Liquid Nitrogen cooling sounds cool but, is not on the market, you would have to build it yourself.
 
Yeah... I can't see an AC unit working too well. You're still just circulating air. Unless you can directly cool the CPU's heatsink, I can't see it helping too much. I'm sure it would make a difference, but I agree, plain water cooling would probably be the best.
 
dont get that 400 dollars case with a built in AC if thats what your thinking its not a AC its just a TEC

They call it a sealed short travel system??

I thought about running my computer right near my window AC to overclock it, but then i heard that ACs can bring alot of moisture or yea condensation as listed above and damage components.....But i need to put my AC back in, its like 90f outside and my room usually stays hotter then it is outside cuz of my computer.
 
oo ya im just learning about AC units for comps, bc my friend is going to build a comp with 2 8800 gtx video cards in it and im like wow it might produce alot of heat , but ya i heard theirs leackage but never condensation , thanks

phase changing is a completely different plateau than water/air in both performance and complexity
