1. Yes, or I beleive so. It doesn't look much smaller than what I had for my 6800(it's on the for sale forum if you want to see) and it took 2 slots

2. I don't know, but unless the XFS is silent, it's most certinally quieter

Woah! Thats pretty big! Looks sweet though. Did it cool your GPU a lot more or just a little?

The main reason for it is the quietness, im getting a Thermaltake Big Typhoon (16dBA) and my case fans are only 21 dBA, so id be as well making it a quiet computer.
 
I couldn't tell much of a difference, honestly, but it was definetly more quiet than the original cooler. MUCH more quiet than the 7800's cooler too.
 
Oh it's not too big :rolleyes: :P Now realize this is a 6800GT, not the 6600. However, I bet they are pretty similar.

Is that FX5500 on the right? :D god i`m happy that it´s not in my comp anymore.. Had one before this GT... But it ran CS:S pretty well :) =)

Actually I was looking too for that NV5 cooler for my Gainward.. It´s kinda noisy in the 3D mode with stock cooler... and It´s only 25€ in our local store ;)
 
The other one is an AGP X Series... I don't think you'd be able to tell exactly which model though.
