Access my home pc from work

I would like to know what i need to do to have access to my pc at home?
do i need software/hardware

I have a dell laptop/xp on it at work and have a laptop at home dell/xp

also can i use my internet from home at work?:confused:
 
The easiest way is to look at logmein.com
the free version should do what you need and it is very secure
 
Or get a program called Teamviewer, that's always good i have found.

I have used logmein before, and that is also very good.

Both are very good.

It always works for me and my friend's computer. :)

you do realise that's only for a local area network (LAN).... not over the internet.???

The OP is wanting to do it over the internet.

Remote Desktop CAN be used over the internet I've done it plenty... however I would also sugguest logmein.com Works great, I've never had a problem with it.
