accidentally permanent underclock

hey guys, I just got my new laptop, including an 8400 GS in it

so I fire up PowerStrip (overclocking program) to see what I can do

not willing to check temperatures and stuff now, I made a speed profile to save battery power (underclocked from 400 mhz to 334)

when I try to reset it back to 400, it will not go. I have tried pushing graphic defaults, but that does not work either.

Please help!

Have you tried uninstalling PowerStrip and/or the drivers, reinstall them and then see if it's still reporting the same speed?

after checking online for drivers for a while, windows couldn't find anything. I'm now searching C for drivers

this sucks because now I am running 640x480 on the default drivers

windows found the driver on the C drive and installed it, so I'm back to native resolution

I reinstalled powerstrip and it still reports 334 :(

Try installing the drivers from laptopvideo2go and use RivaTuner to try and change the clock speed back.
