Acer a500 cracked screen

Hi guys,
I own an acer a 500 tablet and i cracked its screen. What I have noticed is that the display itself is perfectly fine and the only thing broken is the thin layer of gorilla glass. So my question is: Can I replace the gorilla glass layer without replacing the lcd? :confused:
Please Help!
