Acer AL2616Wd and my Xbox360

Hey guys,
I am currently running on an ati radeon x1650 card connected to my Acer AL2616Wd lcd monitor (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16824009101) through a DVI-D cable. I am planning on buying the xbox 360 elite console (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16868105001) and running it through my LCD using an HDMI to DVI-D converter cable (the 360 elite console comes with an hdmi port). The problem that rises in my scenario is that I would like to have both my computer and the xbox connected into my lcd's sole DVI slot, would anyone know of perhaps some kind of splitter or a switch that I can purchase somewhere to split between the two devices? I would really like to sidestep having to plug and unplug my computer/xbox whenever I need to use the other. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I have done something of this sort and well it may help you out and it may not, but im not exactly for sure what it is called but i know they make a DVI spliter for a LCD monitor and for this type of situation and all. i just think you would have to run the spliter backwards almost instead of connecting the computer to the main DVI in you would hook the monitor into it and then the computer to one of the outs and the Xbox to the other. This spliter also has a switch to switch between one and the other if i can find out where i saw it i will get back with you on it but i know they make them! and the main purpose of the spliter is for 2 monitors... the computer goes into the main DVI in then the monitors hook to the outs but ive seen it done backwards so thats its like a switch for 2 different computers with one screen but as far as it being used for xbox im not sure but if i find out where i saw the name of it i will gladly get back with you!

Besides something like a KVM switch, there should be a hard-wired switch out there somewhere, probably basically like Crazy_whitmore was talking about. Have you checked Newegg?
