Acer Apire 7720, Can I Upgrade the processor??

I have a Acer Aspire 7720. Its a great computer, but the processor is a little on the slow side for gaming. Ive called various computer tech services, but they do not offer CPU installation. Is it even possible?? I also don't have a whole lot of computer skills, as far as installing hardware goes. Thanks.

in laptops... don't count on it.
you'll first need to find a experienced computer builder somewhere.
which will probably don't have any experience with the model.
won't be an easy task even though he's experienced to disassemble the laptop.

and even if all of the above does go right. in most laptops you simply can't exchange them. It's all very very prebuilt and made for the rest of the laptop.

if you get another cpu and it appears to be generating more heat you'll be starting to experience shutdown because of overheating. and you'll no longer have garantuee.
