Acer Aspire 6920 (exact model unknown), want to add more memory, help please

I have an Acer Aspire 6920 (don't know exact model), and I would like to add more memory to it. Right now it has a single 2 GB DDR2 stick in it, though I want to add another, but I`m a total newb to memory stuff.

Anyway, I looked that the specs of the laptop and I see for memory it says:

* Dual-Channel DDR2 SDRAM support
* Up to 2 GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory, upgradeable to 4 GB using two soDIMM modules

So does this mean I need to get two soDIMM modules, or are they already in the laptop?

I wouldn't think that you would it may work I would ask when you buy it to make sure. If you are going to take a risk of not asking then you can go to crucial com and buy all your RAM there

K I see 3 GB is already installed. Also, how do I find my model? I know it's an Acer Aspire 6920, but the exact model I can't find. Looking at the bottom, I see it says AS 6920-6968 but I can't find that model anywhere.

It means there is 1 DDR2 SODIMM in there. You can add another one but if you buy 2 you will have to remove the other one.
