Can any one tell me about this tablet? pros and cons?

Are the A500 ones much better?

I want to use it mostly as a word processor, can I get one off the internet for free, and keep it installed? I do not live near an internet connection.

Not a big fan of Acer personally but you can get a office suite on there, I believe most people recommend Kingsoft but not sure. You will need wifi to install the suite but you wont need wifi to use it or save directly to the device unless you plan on using cloud services.

I tried to look up the differences to the A500 and the A200 and it would be best to provide links to the specific models since the A500 I am looking at is using Android Honeycomb on a outdated arm cpu where as the A200 is using Android ICS on more modern hardware I would go with the A200. Unless the A500 your looking is a more updated model I cannot say.
