Hi could anyone give me a idea on my lappy. i have a acer aspire 5315 and for the life i me can not find my discs that it came with. i have a copy of win xp pro that i want to load onto it but when it get to the start of the disc partition screen it says there is no HDD and i have gone a bought a new HDD and when i boot up it says media cable fail or something.
has acer blocked the hdd from being reformated? if so how do i unblock it?
