Ok, so my sister gets a new graphics card (mx 4000, 128mb) and he machine is an old 333mhz somethingorother with windows98. She puts it in, and the driver cd doesnt work, So she downloads the drivers from Nvidias website. So she installs the drivers and then restarts, the machine posts and is just about to bring up the desktop when a message comes up saying "windows has an error, windows did not start for safety reasons" or something like that. She can still get into safemode-and she has tried to reinstall the drivers. But everytime this comes up. What could it be, the card cant be faulty, I tested it in my machine. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Thanks, I can now load up windows again. But whenever I try and put in the driver cd and click it in 'my computer' some error pops up. (usualy along the lines of demo32 has praformed (SP?) and illegal operation...)

EDIT: I just tried the ones off the internet and unforuntly windows wont start again, just like before.
