Acrylic Cases FTW?

I don't believe they're very safe, I think one of my friends shorted out his motherboard with one of those cases.

From what I've seen, read, and had a friend tell me, they scratch like nothing and need dusting all the time to look good.

Bah, thanks for crushing my dreams ;_;. I guess Ill stick with my Cooler Master. Im thinking about putting a top fan slot onto it, what do u guys think? I might make some holes all over the place for superb cable management as well. Im just bored out of my mind with my case, cathodes arent doing it anymore. EL wire...... I will definitely look some up :))). Anyone else have an original idea they would like to see me try?

I just got another idea, I cud replace the mesh in the front with another fan. I already have 2 blue cathodes going down each side of the front but I think a fan will still look good in there.

dont go acrylic, here are a few reasons why:

- the side panels do not slide off like a normal case, they must be unscrewed the whole way around (usually 8-20 screws)

- once the side panel is off, the case is extremely wobbly since the side panels are the bulk of the frame

- there is nowhere to hide cables, its almost impossible to make it look good

- they scratch everything they touch, and everything they touch scratches them

- most of them only use 80mm fans, which means to get proper cooling it will be LOUD

- dust ftl
