Activation question re: MS Office H&S 2007

Hi all,

I recently had occasion to buy a new laptop, and I haven't put office on it yet. I have a 3-install disk for MS Office H&S 2007, which I had installed on three laptops, one of which is being replaced by the new one. So my question is, do you know if I can uninstall Office from the old laptop and install it onto the new one? There would still only be three installs in existence from the disk; or does that not work? Thanks

Yes, uninstall it from the old laptop and then you can activate it on the new one. You might just need to call the Microsoft robot and get the confirmation ID, but it should work without an issue.
 
Yeah to de-activate Office on other machines just uninstall it. You should be able to activate over the internet fine after that, and ringing up MS and inputting some numbers into a phone isn't too hard.
