Ad-Hoc network

I had an Ad-Hoc network between 2 computers so i could share internet. One card is USB and the other, PCI. The USB card was unplugged and some how wouldnt be recognized after I plugged it back in. After I reinstalled the drivers the card was working. However the internet was not being shared. I can only access files between the computers. I have tryed re-doing the network with a different SSID and it still wont work. The local area connection for the computer directly connected to the internet is set to share. What have I missed?

I have tried connecting to the main computer with a different one and It still didnt work, that means it is a problem with the computer directly connected to the internet.

re configure the wireless portion of the MAIN pc which supplies the internet. Try ipconfig /renew on the mian pc, should work. If not, just restart the main pc.
