I recently bought 2 new ram sticks for my pc, which is a home built pc. My mb is a Gigabyte GA B250 hd3. My ram was working in the 2 & 4 slots but it took about 2 minutes to boot up. So I bought a ssd 250gb drive because they are supposed to be faster for bootups I heard but it took about 90 seconds to bootup. I use my 1 tb hdd as storage now. So I added 2 new ram on my pc. When I booted up I got 5 beeps. I looked at the 4 led lights & found that the DRAM light stayed on. So I pulled all my ram out & tested my slots with one of the ram sticks. I tested each slot & found that #1 slot was giving me the 5 long beeps. So I don't know if this is a ram,cpu or a mother board problem. Any ideas what it might be. Any help would be much apprieciated. Thanks.
