I got a new desktop, because my old one's motherboard fried. I have a lot of information on my last hard drive that i need. Is it okay if i hook up that old hard drive with the new computer, or will it not work so well? Sinc the old one has all the old settings and OS for the last desktop.

As long as you are using a new hard drive for the new computer and use the old hard drive as a slave then you will have no problems, then you can delete the windows directory and others but keep your files and use it as storage if you want to.

Shouldn't be a problem, but not sure but when i'v been studying they suggest changing the jumper to slave instead of master which is on the back of the HDD (if you have a master HDD)
