adding core into quad core.

hi
i have a Intel core 2 quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50Ghz
and also a single core pentium 4 3.2Ghz.
is there a way to switch the single 3.2 with one of the cores in the quad?

no, that is impossible.

No processors do no have removable/interchangeable parts. You can change one processor to another if its the same socket and supported. But no you cant just remove a core from a processor.

i know! heheheh, ill go buy the nice ole qx 9950, get a real cheap quad, exchange cores and return the qx9950 to get my money back!
