Adding New Hard Drive

Hi All,

I got a new Seagate 320Gb Sata2 Hdd, before i put it in, i wanna make one thing sure, All i need to do is go to the windows Install and Format that disk Drive

Or

Would it be easier to format from inside windows XP itself by right clicking - Format?

well, as long as your bios recognizes it you could just format it within windows, i'd think that'd be easier. In addition it would reduce the chances of you accidently formating the wrong drive.

You can format it in Windows if you want, but I prefer to do it during the Windows install to make sure theres nothing on the drive before hand.
