Alright, I am basically a computer noob, so go easy.

I have a HP Pavilion dv2500
Intel t7500 2.2ghz
2gbs of ram
Nvidia GeForce 8400m GS w/ 64mb
Phoenix F.13 BIOS
and Windows Vista:mad:

I want to add at least another 64mb to my graphics card, so I can run games that require a minimum of 128mb.

I have read that you enter your BIOs to perform this task and then select "video sharing" or something like that. When I enter my BIOs I only get about 5 tabs, none of which have anything to do with sharing memory.

Can someone please help out???

Check under the top 5... and look in each of them. You should see something like: Video Memory: 64MB (and you can increase it...)

Thanks for the responses.

I checked the BIOs again and there is no video memory option or anything like that. I guess my card must be a "turbocache card" like you said. Does this mean games that require a minimum of 128mb will run?

they should, but not very well. Take for instance Battlefield 2, needs 128mb ram minimum, but runs best with 256+

I already have Battlefield 2 installed, it runs great and I think the graphics are on high. I thought Battlefield 2 only requires 64mb....I don't a friend gave me the game for free.

If Battlefield 2 is running smooth on my comp. is there any chance I will be able to run World in Conflict, Hellgate London, or maybe even Call of Duty 4?????

on mine its similer (i was about to ask that same thing and saw this so ill ask here) mine says 128mb dedicated, 623mb available, and 495mb sharded system memory...so now can i change it higher so that i can use 623mb on mine or no?
