hi all.....when i go and type in an address into the address bar at the bottom of my desktop i get this message......application not found,is there away i can fix this thxs:)

Right click on your taskbar.. It gives you the option to add one. I'm not quite sure why his is screwing up though.

Can you take a screenshot of it? When I attempt it on mines, all I see is the word "Address" and no working input field or anything. If it's not that one, are you using a third party tool that you just installed?

unlock your taskbar and drag the edge of the address bar over so more than just the word address shows. ;)

Ah, I see. Thanks for the tip.

Well, it seems like it's pointing to your browser, but isn't finding it. Do you have a default browser? IE, FF, or opera? If so, go into it's settings and check to see if it's set to detect as the default browser.

Other than that, you can check the properties of the taskbar. Click on "Start Menu" > Then click "Customize"

Near the bottom where it says "Internet," is there a browser selected?
