adjusting onboard graphics cards

Hi, i read somwhere that you can adjust how much memory is used between your graphics card and your ram or somthing like that, can you tell me how to do it please?

If you can there will be options for it in the BIOS, press del or one of the F keys (it should say which one) right when you turn your computer on to get in
