my old back up computer (windows 2000 pro.) suddenly, after many years of faithful service, began refusing to follow orders. It now says I do not have the authority to add programs etc. I should get the administrater to do it. This is a home system and there has never been an "administrater. Is there a way to disengage the entire administrater requirement so I won't be bothered. This never happened before in all the years i've owned the machine.
