J jetsmell Member Mar 22, 2013 #1 I have windows 8. Whenever I restart, I find myself having to sign in. I don't want or need that. When I download , a pop up says that it can't be accessed because it needs an Administrator's permission. What can I do to change this?

johnb35 Administrator Staff member Mar 22, 2013 #2 Is your user account listed as an administrator account? Go into control panel, user accounts and see what it shows under your name.
