hello, when i go to youtube or any sites that requires a flash player, it tells me i have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. so i click on the link to get a new version. i install it and everything goes fine. when i go back to youtube, it tells me the same message. my computer have had a same spyware twice, and this is how it usually began before it starts messing up my computer. plz help because i have spent over 200$ fixing it because of the same stupid spyware/virus(i dont really no the difference).

If you're concerned that this may be a sign of an infection you can post a HijackThis log. See http://www.computerforum.com/24672-hijackthis-logs.html for info.

I suspect it is not malware related, however, and may be related to corrupt files in the flash player installation which are preventing the update. I suggest you follow the instructions at http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=57669 to check your security settings and completely uninstall and reinstall Flash Player.

If this doesn't solve the problem, we're going to need more information - what Operating System are you using, what browser are you using, do you have any other security products such as firewalls, script blockers, popup blockers etc... that could be interfering? Does this happen with all sites requiring flash player or is it just youtube?

ty for replying. i tried what u sed to try and it did not work. as for the information part, it happens to all sites requiring flash player. i dont have anything but a firewall that could be interfering. As for what operation system im using, i dont understand what that is or means. iuse internet explorer, but im not sure of the verision.

thx again
