Adobe Flash Player

There are some web pages that require Adobe Flash Player and tells me to download it to view them. However, I go through the download of the player but nothing works. And after I think it is downloaded I go back to the page but nothing happens. Do I have settings wrong? I have no idea if I have the settings right in the security panel from the internet properties fron internet options.

You will usually end up with problems if you try installing it from the prompt from the page requiring flash player. Also look in add/remove programs to see if adobe flash is listed there. If not, then its not installed.

I've installed flash player in firefox on (k)ubuntu numerous times and have had no problems although i have heard of others having problems.

Hey thanks a lot and that did work. Installed it and then went to the web site I had trouble with and is working. Appreciate it.
