ADSL 2+ modem

Hi guys.

I need a ADSL 2+ modem and i was looking at ebay and found that the price range for these modems were like from 25 bucks to like 150 bucks.

Im new to all of this and would like abit of insight from you guys about what to look out for and what to consider when buying a ADSL 2+ modem.

What internet provider do you have? What need to know that as most companies only support certain modems.
 
So whats the difference between these two modes? one is 30 bucks the other is over a hundred? can i please have some help understanding this?
