ADSL router

I was looking for an ADSL router to use with my modem to enable both computers on my network to access the net at the same time.

I can't find one anywhere :(

Can anyone recommend one? I live in the UK so a UK shop would be preferred. Budget is anything under £30.

Remember, I'm not looking for an ADSL modem router - just the ADSL router.

Cheers, DD

P.S. I have officially returned after a long time away :P Glad to be back :D

what connection does you current modem have? USB or ehternet? you should get one for that kind of budget, is it wired or wireless?

Oh yeah, sorry.

It's Ethernet - wired. I'm currently using a switch with my modem to enable both computers to be able to use the net, but I want to be able to do it at the same time.

you can order 1 offline umm D-link would prolly be the buget router...but i prefer lynksis

yeah Fnpope! Linksys all the way, good quality, easy setup, easy but in-depth configuration options!

Option 1

Option 2

Would either of those do the job I'm looking for?

The strange thing is all the pure routers I find (especially from linksys) are more expensive than modem-routers. Why is this?

Cheers

yeah they will work....the pure routers get more quality

you dont want to go too cheap though b/c sometimes they get messed up and ports get fried and stuff

Both of them which you mentioned should work, also this one from ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sitecom-xDSL-...60594QQcategoryZ86762QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem
will work and is cheaper than your option one, i use that product but the wireless version for my network, and it was incerdibly simple to setup, just plug the modem into the WAN port and then you have the net on your network :D

I take it that xDSL means it will work with ADSL.

I bought this by mistake. It's for DSL/cable. There's no way that I could get it working with my ADSL is there?

Cheers.
