Advice for Memory Upgrade?!

Hello im just so newly member of this cool board. I hope you guys can help me out, My system is Biostar Hi-Fi A85W motherboard with AMD A8-6500 and 4 GB DDR3. Now i am wondering if a memory upgrade to 8 GB would really make sense in that case? Or could it be a too slow CPU?

The reason why i wanna load more memory on it its because i am doing a lot of videos to edit... what do you think?

if you are doing alot with video editing and stuff like that then yes 8 is better than four.
and no the cpu is not to slow for more memory, mayby it dosen,t support higher speeds of mem, but upgrading to 8gb would not be a problem if you put in 2 banks more of the 1,s you have.

i just added another 4 GB recently, but yeah... i was hoping for a bigger performance boost :/
 
its not a big performence boost, not for gaming ore so, but you can open more aplications and do more tasks at the same time.
