Alright, so recently I've been thinking about adding more ram to my computer in hope that it's going to run much, much better than now. I just can't decide and I need your help and your opinion about this. It's about adding 4 GB ram.

So the question is, is it going to work more slightly if I add 4 GB ram instead of one? or can I add 4 GB to the current 1GB so total it makes 5 GB ram.
I believe I have 2 places where I can put ram inside.
I recently replaced my graphic card to one with 1GB ram, ddr5. It had slighter changes, but nothing much about running slightly.
(I'm talking about gaming computer).

you have got XP. Are they 32bit?
your machine won't recongize over 3.25GB if it is 32bit.

I suggest if you got 32bit, just add another 2GB to make it to 3GB in total.

What is your motherboard model? Double check what it takes 4GB on each slot.
