Advice needed one buying Video card please!

Hi,

I currently use 2 Dell 2007fp monitors, but am looking to link a 3rd one up (i am an online poker player who plays alot of tables simultaneously, this would make my life easier lol)

At the moment i have this "Nvidia Geforce 7300 Turbocache 256MB DVI/VGA output with 1xS-Video Output."

Unless you have an SLI motherboard, you'll be limited to a plain PCI card. Basically any PCI card should be fine.

Thanks for your quick response. I have a 6 month old Dell dimension E520 - would you expect this to have a SLI motherboard or not?

the dell E520 definitely does not have an SLI motherboard. you will not find a video card that is going to support three monitors. there is an external device that you can buy, but unfortunately i am drawing a blank as to what it is called and i cant find it, but i will conitue to look and when i find it ill post it here

however, a nvidia 7300 is going to strain to support three monitors, you might want to consider upgrading to an 8800GTS perhaps
