Advice on first-timer build

I'm pretty new to building my own desktop and I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on this list I put together. I really don't know exactly what is good out there and what goes well with what. This is pretty much based entirely off customer reviews and prices. My budget is $1000-$1200

Just looking to build a solid medium end gaming/home use computer.

nice job getting everything together. looks like quite a beefy build. the only thing i would change is the cpu. not sure if you need a 965 for medium gaming and home use. i would go with either a 955 or 955 b.e. and just overclock to the 965's specs:

that way you could spend more on the ram or case, or just keep it in your pocket :good:
