Advice On My Build?

Hey everyone I am building a new desktop. I am very good with building budget builds and things of that nature but this year I decided I am going to build something somewhat expensive for gaming. Money is not an issue for this build. I am wanting to see if you guys think that what I have listed below will be an awesome build for a gaming desktop, I hear I should add in a ssd for this but could not choose one, if someone could recommened me one with the adapter that would be great. Like I said money is not an issue. Ok so here it goes and each includes a link to them on ebay:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690 (GPU)

Asus P8Z77-V DELUXE (MB)

Intel Core i7-3960X (CPU)

CORSAIR Vengeance (RAM)

CORSAIR AX1200i (PSU)

AeroCool Syclone II (CASE)

Western Digital Caviar Black WD5002AALX (HD)

Intel RTS2011LC (CPU Water Cooler)

This is what I have down so far. If there is anything I have missed please let me know and also is the case of choice a good one for this build? If you guys have any recommendations please let me know. Also I forgot to add the cd drive any good ones you guys think would be great for this build let me know.
 
1. Your CPU and motherboard are not compatible. You need a LGA1155 processor to use that board. If you really are looking to mostly game, then get a 2500k or 3570k. 2500k will overclock better (laws of physics).
2. Get Dual 680 GPUs instead of a 690. It will be faster and about the same price. I would recommend the 4GB version. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130799 for example.
3. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106188 will be the same thing but cheaper. I would personally look into a H80 or a H100 as they would cool better.

4. Look into a SSD. They are good for boot times, and load times. I recommend the M4 or the Samsung 830.

Which motherboard would you recommend? I would like a high end one if possible.
 
The P8Z77 is a great board. You are wasting money if you get a 6 core. Games simply do not use them. Save the money and get a better part elsewhere in the build. A 2600K would be a waste too, because of games not taking advantage of the extra threads. Build what you need, and don't needlessly spends money.
 
yea. I would get the 2500k (overclocks better) and you will have a great gaming system. Then get a 128 or 256GB SSD and your system will be amazing.

Ok so the 2500k is compatible with this board? Also do you think I should use water cooling with this processor?

Oh yeah I was looking at the 830 earlier. It seemed like an awesome one. But like I was saying about the processor you recommended to me. Will that do good with me recording my games and playing at the same time?
