Advice on SSD purchase - Corsair R120 reasonable?

I really didn't want to have to buy an SSD this early in the game but an unanticipated failure has forced my hand. Would this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/196891 pose a reasonable solution? I don't really like paying through the nose but on the other hand a Velociraptor isn't really cheap and is probably noisy as hell. Does anyone know of any better options? Any problems with the controller? On the one hand I read that this is a good series of drives, while on the other, I heard that JMicron makes bad controllers?

I'd recommend a single large hard disc over an SSD, the only reason i would suggest an SSD is for use as a boot drive.

As far as SSD's, i prefer the OCZ agility and vertex lines, make use of a better(indilinx) controller, or the new Vertex 2/Vertex LE line which uses a pretty awesome controller from sandforce.

In the end, I got an OCZ Vertex 2, 60 GB and have put programs for which speeds is less of a concern on a special partition on a slower drive.
