I just can't help but think that I'm slowly destroying the motherboard and the processor by having to do so much work with them.
FWIW, I've had Socket 775's locked/unlocked well over 20 times before. I know they say 'after 20...', but I've seen great mileage with some MoBo's. My IL9 Pro is probably closer to 30 at this point. Also, while you shouldn't be rough with MoBo's, feel free to be firm with them - the PCB can hold a lot of pressure so long as you're gentle with it and don't use jerky motions.
