Put a guard on the fan? Stops any wires getting into it!

what really helps, is taking the cables together and have no 'crossings' in the bundle. (or at least, as few as possible, and none in sight ) and have the cable bundles run parralel to lines that are already there in the case. like the edge of the motherboard etc.

I mean stiff like this:

its how they wire industrial systems (plc's etc) and well, you cant hide the cables there, but you have to admit it doel look nice still
