To install the OS, yes, just toss in the CD and boot to it. You can either boot to it by changing around BIOS options, or by pressing a F-key (usually F8) to select the boot device to use (CD drive, HDD, etc.).

I wouldn't change any BIOS settings right away, but if you'd like, feel free to enter BIOS and look around to familiarize yourself with it. After I assemble a fresh system, I like to watch the CPU temp in the hardware Monitor area for about 5 minutes to make certain temps and fan speeds are OK.

okay guys another few questions before i actually start building this computer, i know that the mobo has either a 24 pin or 20 + 4 pin power plug from the psu is there another plug that goes into the mobo also like an 8 pin or something on some sites i have seen when building a pc there are two plugs for power to the mobo its called a 12 v or something? also my case has 3 lcd temp readings and for each one of these there is a little wire that comes out of the front of the case where do i put them do i just stick them close to the cpu etc and if so what do i use to stick them there?
