After formatting my hard drive, I have problems

Hello, and thanks for readling.

I recently had to format my hard drive, due to virus problems. However, I don't seem to have the original drivers for my system. I'm not very good at this side of computing, so any help would be appreciated.

Since the format, I've been left with no sound, and no internet connection, so I'm having to post here from work. My ISP (Virgin) provided a set up cd, which upon running says that I don't have an Ethernet card.

If any information is required please ask, and instruct me how to acquire it. Thank you for any help in advance.

When you reinstall windows you will need to reinstall the motherboard driver, you should have a motherboard cd if you havent then find out what mobo you have and go on there site and grab all the drivers for that mobo.
After you have installed the drivers you shouldnt need to run the virgin set up.
